Synopsis
The desire to overcome is at the core of everyone. Especially those fighting disease, facing a natural disaster, coping with a disability or battling mental illness. “Life on the Line” is an inspiring look into personal stories of hope and determination.
The Setting
At hospitals around the nation, people face life and death situations every day. “Life on the Line” zeroes in on one renowned academic hospital in Southern California. Loma Linda University Health serves one-quarter of California, and equips medical teams to travel around the world. The show follows patients from Southern California to the Amazon, Haiti and Egypt as they all fight a similar battle: to stay alive.

Lisa has won several awards for her reporting and documentaries.
